*The nation of Chile imposes a one time $100 entrance fee to be paid
by all U.S. passport holders upon arrival in Chile. This fee is good
for the life of the passport. Because of budget limitations on our end,
we are unfortunately unable to subsidize this cost in addition to the
normal scholarship we award participants on our programs. Therefore,
program participants will be responsible to pay this fee upon arrival
in Chile and this cost is in addition to the program cost. We are working
on ways to reduce this amount and we will keep you informed if things
change. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
