  • Apply Now

The Aish Partners Learning Initiative is a unique opportunity designed to let Jewish students learn about Judaism and get paid for it. This selective, highly competitive program, will allow you to explore many fundamental Jewish ideas in a comfortable and open environment, and to discuss and debate these ideas one-on-one with prominent leaders in the Boston Jewish community.

Specifically, the goals of the Aish Partners Learning Initiative are to:

  • Enable participants to investigate many of the core spiritual/philosophical ideas that make the Jewish people unique, with an eye on what this teaches us about Jewish leadership and responsibility
  • Interact with leaders and exceptional people in the Jewish community, and discuss and debate one-on-one issues that you want to talk about, on your terms and at your pace

Participants in the Aish Partners Learning Initiative meet one evening a week for approximately two hours. On most evenings, the first hour will be an exploration of major Jewish ideas. The second hour will be one-on-one learning. There will also be two Shabbos experiences in Boston. All meetings, classes, and Shabbos programs are mandatory. However, everything is fully subsidized and upon successful completion of the program participants will receive a $300 stipend or a $500 scholarship to apply towards a trip to Israel with Aish.

Spots are limited. Apply now.

If your application passes an initial review, you will be invited to the first class and info session on January 24, 2007. The staff of Aish Campus will determine acceptance independently and their decision is final.

Groups meet every Wednesday night, beginning January 31, 2007. The group meets at the Beth Abraham Synagogue, 18 Williston Road in Brookline (just two doors in from Beacon Street)

The program begins promptly at 8:00 PM and runs for about two hours. Great food will be served.

Please note: all groups are open to any Jewish student currently attending a university in the greater Boston area.

*For most Aish programs, including this summer’s Prague/Israel trip, after application of the $500 scholarship you will only need to pay a $99 processing fee in order to participate. Conditions may vary depending on circumstances, please discuss with an Aish representative for more details.
