Aish Campus Boston gives Jewish college students the tools they need to stand up for Israel and the Jewish people.  Working with Israel activists, Greek life, and many various types of students the Aish Campus Boston program focuses on leadership development, unity, and Jewish pride.

Rabbi Chananel Weiner is the director of Aish Campus Boston.  Rabbi Chananel’s passion is to develop leaders while engaging students on important issues relevant to their lives.  His personable and approachable style and ability to connect to people of all backgrounds makes him a much sought after leader for Boston’s Jewish students.

Rabbi Chananel earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland, his rabbinical training was conducted at Yeshiva Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem, Israel and he was a visiting contributor to Harvard’s ILR program in a course on Israel and the Middle East conflict. Rabbi Chananel speaks on topics pertaining to the Jewish future in North and South America, Europe, and the Middle East.  

Rabbi Chananel lives in Boston with his wife and four children, all of whom enjoy shabbas guests.  Come join us!

Hasbara Fellowships New England:

The Hasbara Fellowships New England program is the top program to train campus Israel activists.  Students learn to stand up for Israel, build coalitions, write op-eds, and run programs to educate their peers.  Each semester our fellows run over 100 programs educating 1000’s of their peers.

Miriam Sernik

Regional Advisor, Hasbara New England

Miriam is the Northeast Regional Advisor for Hasbara Fellowships. Miriam graduated from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While on campus, Miriam was a Hasbara Fellow, and served on the board of the Student Alliance for Israel, during which time she organized Israel programming on campus and built strong relationships with many student leaders across the campus community. She also served as a senator in her student government, was involved in Hillel, and worked as an RA. Miriam is excited to continue her work with Hasbara, and to help students become empowered Israel advocates and leaders on their campuses.

Robyn Frum

Robyn Frum is the former New England Regional Advisor for Hasbara Fellowships. Recently, Robyn earned the role as Managing Director of Hasbara Fellowships nationally.

Hailing from Cleveland Ohio, Robyn gradated with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University. As student shewas an active Hasbara Fellow and those experiences inspired her to join the Hasbara Staff after graduating. While in college, Robyn founded and maintained an executive board member position in Buckeyes for Israel, their campus Israel activism organization. She played an active role in defeating BDS twice at OSU as well as bringing strong Israel programming to campus and building relationships with key players both in the campus community, and the Israel World. She enjoys teaching these skills to Hasbara Fellows.
