My dear friends,

Boy has it been a busy time since the holidays!

Recruitment for our winter Israel trips is in full swing!

I am excited to announce that this winter we will increase the amount of students going to Israel on our programs!

Thankfully, the Hasbara and Aish4AEPi programs are receiving a lot of interest!

In addition to the recruiting efforts, we hosted over 60 students for Holidays meals. It was truly terrific (and delicious!)!

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of speaking to a great group of students at Brandeis University thanks to my good friend Rabbi Mendy Gould.

Amazingly, in this day and age, I forgot to take a picture! Oh well!

However Rabbi Gould did send me some feedback from one of the students and here is what he had to say about my presentation on relationships:

I very much enjoyed the guest speaker yesterday. I think his strongest points were that your relationship with G-d has a direct effect on your relationship with people and things (causes)… Overall I really enjoyed the guest speaker because he wasn’t afraid to say anything controversial and I could relate to him…

Good Shabbas!!

Communicating For Israel’ Presentation at Tufts University

Our Hasbara New England coordinator Miriam was on campuses this week educating students about the basics of Israel’s history and why they should continue to support and stand up for Israel on campus.

Students came out to listen, learn, and challenge assertions while enjoying themselves.

These types of educational forums are vital to genuinely educating students about all the important matters connected to the questions of supporting Israel, historically accurate perspectives, and how to deal with complicated objections and perversions of facts and history.

Miriam is off to a strong start!

Our students lead events at UMASS, Brandeis, Tufts, and BU this week. Check out some pictures below:

Our Hasbara Fellows Isaac and Jacqui at Brandeis host a speaker forum to educate about Israel on campus.
UMASS students learn to answer hard questions about Israel, lead by our student leader Stephanie.
